Dad life

This weekend my wife Kristin went to a Worship Conference. So.. that means Avery's (my little girl) life is in my hands. I'm responsible to change the diper, make the bottels and keep her on schedule. Avery usually gets 1 last bottle to drink before she goes to bed. Bed time came and it was time for me to stop playing with Avery and go and make her last bottle. As I was making the bottle for her, she began to cry. Avery couldn't see me... but I was making her bottle for her. Her dad was already preparing what she needed!

Then it hit me... How many times do I complain, worry or fret about things I need in my life when all along my heavenly father is already making the exact thing I need. He knows what we need and when we need it. I admit... I'm a BIG BABY sometimes! I worry about things. And sometimes I even find myself complaining. This really opened up my eyes to how much my heavenly father loves me. And how much he loves you as well.

Luke 11:11-13
11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[f] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
